Cold sore – an instant treatment with ash
Stages of a cold sore
There is never a good time to get cold sores or fever blisters. It is a very embarrassing skin condition to have not to mention painful. Here are two unusual home remedies that will quickly get rid of your cold sores. It’s important that these treatments are done as soon as you feel a tingling and itching sensation (stage 1).
1. Residue left behind after burning paper
Scrunch a piece of paper into a ball and put it in a glass bowl. Place the glass bowl in the kitchen sink and light the paper. Let the paper burn and remove the remaining ash. There will be a brown or yellowish oily residue on the bottom of the bowl. Take this film of residue onto your fingers while still warm and apply to the area you have the tingling sensation. Do this once or twice a day for a about 2 days to get rid of the cold sore without leaving a scar.
2. Cigarette ash
Whenever the first symptom of a cold sore appears, soak a cotton pad in chamomile tea and then gently dab the area. Then apply the cigarette ash to the affected area and dab again again with new cotton pad soaked in chamomile tea. Leave the ash to dry for about an hour. The results are almost immediate.
Warning: These treatments really sting! If you want a painless and quick treatment for cold sore that is permanent then this unique and effective treatment is worth a try.
